Project manager is the heart of every project, shouldering important duties including resources allocation, inter-department communication and integration, supervision and review.
Employers tend to favor candidates with internationally recognized certification as it is always a reliable measurement of experience, knowledge and talent for project managers. However, becoming a chartered Project Management Professional takes more than passing the PMP international examination. While Degree holders need to possess three years of relevant experience within the six years prior to the application, they would also need to complete 35 contact hours of project management training provided by a Registered Education Provider.
